BNP`s existence at stake: Quader
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday said existence of BNP and its leaders are at stake as the party itself is struggling for survival in the political landscape of the country.
"BNP itself is a threat to the party as it is under the grip of wrong leadership" he said while addressing a rally at Dimla Upazila Parishad Ground in Nilphamari district after inaugurating the Khoksar Ghat bridge.
The minister said the country has made remarkable progress and it is going forward to become a developed one very fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
"We have sent Monga (phenomenon of poverty and hunger) to museum from North Bengal and we will also be able to send poverty to the same place under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he added.
He said the government is working persistently to create jobs for the unemployed and ensure employment opportunities for all.
Quader asked the party workers to behave well with everyone and keep the party`s goodwill as the ruling party has been able to make immense development in the country.
Dimla Upazila Awami League organised the rally. Upazila Awami League President and Local Lawmaker Aftab Uddin Sarker presided while Upazila Chairman Tabibul Islam, among others, spoke on the occasion.
