Mirza Abbas hospitalized

A standing committee member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Mirza Abbas has been taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) for treatment on Saturday.

Confirming the matter, Jahangir Kabir, Senior Jail Super of Dhaka Cetral Jail, said Abbas was taken to DMCH for treatment of highly diabetes and spine bone loss around 10:30 am.

Abbas was sent to jail after he surrendered before court in two cases filed with Matijheel and Paltan Police Stations on January 6.
