Finish Ekram murder trial by six months: SC

The Appellate Division the Supreme Court on Thursday directed to finish the trial proceedings of the murder case of Phulgazi upazila chairman Ekramul Haque by six months.

A four-member bench headed by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order.

The SC scrapped the HC order that granted bail to Adel in this case.

The chairman of Phulgazi upazila in Feni was killed on May 20, 2014.
