Hasina government supportive: Quader

The next national election will be held under the Election Commission and the very Sheikh Hasina government will play role as the supportive government during the election.

Awami League General Secretary and also Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said this at Gouripur in Daudkandi upazila of Comilla district after visiting construction work of Goumti Bridge on Tuesday noon.

The ruling party leader came up with the comment a day after BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia had demanded holding the next general election under a neutral and supportive government.

The BNP chief also demanded army deployment during the election. In this regard, the Awami League leader said, “Everyone will perform constitutional duty and will work according to the needs of the Election Commission.”
