Khaleda invites Hasina for iftar

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has invited Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for the iftar party.

The party will be held at the capital’s Bashundara International Convention Centre on June 5.

Taiful Islam Tipu, assistant office secretary of BNP, said a delegation team of BNP went to the AL president Dhanmondi office to reach the invitations card on behalf of Khaleda Zia.

Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader and its presidium members have also been invited for the iftar.

AL’s assistant secretary Sikandar Ali received the invitations card, he informed.

As in the previous years, Khaleda Zia, former prime minister of the country, is arranging the Iftar party for the honour of country’s all political party leaders.
