BNP demands home minister’s resignation
BNP’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Sunday demanded resignation of Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal as police conducted raids at the party chief’s office at Gulshan in Dhaka on Saturday.
“The home minister has to step down taking the responsibility of the illegal action done by the government,” Fakhrul said at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan office.
“When BNP has initiated a peaceful and democratic political practice, and presented vision-2030, such an attack is a blue print and provocative manner to spoil the future of democracy in the country,” he added.
