Police search Khaleda’s Gulshan office
Law enforcers have searched BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s office at Gulshan in Dhaka.
A team of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, led by Gulshan zone DC Mostak Ahmed, started the search at 7.30 am and continued till 9.00am on Saturday. They didn’t arrest anyone and seized nothing.
A top police officer said that they would hold a press briefing at DMP office in this regard.
BNP senior joint secretary general condemned the raid and termed it as naked interference on democracy.
