Dipu Moni urges people to reelect AL

Awami League Joint Secretary Dr Dipu Moni today urged the people to reelect the AL government to keep up the development activities of the country.

The former foreign minister said the present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina implemented huge development programmes for the wellbeing of the people in the last eight years.

"So we seek the public support again to reelect the government to continue the uplift of the country," she told a special extended meeting of Manikganj district AL at the Zilla Parishad auditorium.

Dipu Moni urged the AL leaders and workers to project the development work of the government before the people.

She also asked the party leaders and workers to work unitedly for ensuring the victory of the Awami League in the next general elections.

Advocate Golam Mohiuddin, president, Manikganj District Awami League and chairman, Manikganj Zila Parishad, chaired the meeting, while Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, Awami League Central Organizing Secretary, Momtaj Begum, MP, and Naimur Rahman Durjoy, MP, spoke.
