Khaleda to meet senior leaders tonight

Khaleda Zia, the Chairperson of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), will hold a meeting with her party’s topmost policy makers on Sunday night.

Confirming the matter to the reporters, Sayrul Kabir Khan, staff of Khaleda Zia’s media wing told that “The National Standing Committee meeting is scheduled to begin at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office around 9pm with Khaleda in the chair.”

BNP will finalize names of five persons for Election Commission in the meeting, it is learnt.

Earlier, the newly formed search committee on Saturday asked 31 political parties to propose five names by January 31 to form Election Commission.
