No crisis in Bangladesh: Hanif

Joint General Secretary of Awami League Mahbubul Alam Hanif said there is no political crisis in Bangladesh now. Hanif said this on Tuesday noon at the Dhanmondi office of party chief Sheikh Hasina in reaction to BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia’s press brief on Monday.

“The political crisis Khaleda Zia mentioning is all about their petrol-bomb terrorism”, said the AL leader.

He said Khaleda is lying before the nation. She has imposed the strike in fear of her son’s and hers arrest, Hanif added.

Hanif said Awami league is standing against the violence conducting by BNP and its allies. They have started holding country-wide rallies against those activities.

Organizational Secretary of Awami League Ahmad Hossain, AFM Bahauddin Nasim and Office Secretary Dr. Abdus Sobahan Golap among others were present at the press meet.
