JP extends support to Ivy for NCC polls

Jatiya Party on Monday extended its support to the ruling Awami League-backed mayoral candidate for Narayanganj City Corporation election Selina Hayat Ivy. 

The main opposition in the parliament said they extended the support as part of the party decision.

“We have not nominated anyone for the Narayanganj City Corporation polls. Our chairman Hussain Mohammed Ershad and the party have decided to extend support to AL candidate Selina Hayat Ivy,” JP Presidium member   SM Faisal Chisti  said at a press Conference in Narayanganj.

Narayanganj City Corporation goes for polls on December 22.
