Khaleda says human rights abused 365 days in Bangladesh

Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia accused the government of gross human rights violation and said that in Bangladesh human rights are abused every of the 365 days.

She came up with the remark in a statement issued on Friday on the occasion of Human Rights Day.

She also urged everyone to come forward together to establish "real democracy".

She said that people are victim of killing, secret killing and enforced disappearance every day because of "one-party autocratic rule" and "ethnic clashes". , she said, adding

The former prime minister said that numerous people were victim of extrajudicial killings.

“We are passing through very dark times. The illegal government has snatched people’s democratic rights. Human rights are grossly violated everyday,” the BNP chairperson said in the statement signed by BNP`s joint secretary general Ruhuk Kabir Rizvi
