Rajshahi BNP leader shot dead
The Rajshahi district unit vice president of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has been shot dead.
His name is Khandakar Mainul Islam who is a resident of Hoseniganj in Rajshahi town.
Mainul’s family members told reporters that the bullet-wounded Mainul was rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital at about 1:00pm on Wednesday.
The hospital’s acting director Monwarul Islam confirmed the death.
