AL involved in Nasirnagar attacks: Hafiz
BNP’s vice chairman M Hafiz Uddin Ahmed alleged that the ruling party Awami League was involved in attacks on Hindus in Bramhanbaria’s Nasirnagar.
Now it is clear while three local leaders of ruling party were expelled.
He made the remark on Saturday while talking to the journalists at a press conference at BNP chairperson’s political headquarters.
Hafiz demanded that the government form a judicial inquiry to identify the real perpetrators and bring them to book.
Hafiz said, the ruling party’s proponents were involved in attack on minorities for past seven years not only Nasirnagar’s incident but also across the country.
A delegation team of BNP, led by Hafiz on Friday visited the affected area, the press conference is based on their eye sight visitation of the area.
About 200 houses and business establishments and 22 temples of Hindus were vandalised and robbed by groups of local Muslims on October 30.
