SC asks Fakhrul to surrender
The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday asked BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir to surrender before a lower court on Tuesday in three arson and vandalism cases.
A four-member bench, headed by Chief Justice SK Sinha, passed the order rejecting the petition, said additional attorney general Murad Reza.
Earlier on October 6, the Supreme Court extended till today (November 2) its bail order for Fakhrul on heath ground in the cases.
