Russia, Bangladesh abolish visas for diplomats
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Bangladeshi counterpart Abul Hassan Mahmud have signed an intergovernmental agreement on visa-free travel for holders of diplomatic and service passports.
‘It [the agreement] will promote private business contacts,’ Lavrov said after his Thursday meeting with Mahmud of the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, according to Sputnik news agency.
The 71st United Nations General Assembly started at the UN headquarters in New York on Tuesday.
