Launch capsizes in Shandha river of Barisal
A launch carrying over 50 people on board capsized in Shandhya river in Banaripara upazila of Barisal on Wednesday.
Confirming the matter, Ziaul Ahasan, officer-in-charge of Banaripara Police Station said, ML Oishi, with over 50 people on board, capsized at Dasherhaat point around 11.30am,
A rescue operation is underway for the missing, he added.
