Joy gets ICT Development Award in USA

Sajeeb Wazed Joy, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister, received ‘ICT for Development Award’ in USA.

Hollywood actor Robert John Davi handed over the award to Joy on Monday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina along with other ministers and high-level political leaders from Bangladesh and other countries, UN senior officials, heads of International Organisations, Ambassadors, private sector and civil society leaders and celebrities attended the programme.

The World Organisation of Governance and Competitiveness, Plan Trifinio, Global Fashion for Development and School of Business of the University of New Haven, Connecticut in USA jointly organised the ceremony.
