Azimpur militant’s son placed on 3-day remand

A Dhaka court on Sunday placed Tahrim Kaderi alias Rusel, 14, son of the militant Tanvir Kaderi alias Abdur Karim, killed in Azimpur raid, on a three-day remand in connection with a case filed under anti-terror act.

First Additional District Sessions Judge Ruhul Amir passed the remand order after police produced the accused before the court seeking 10-day remand.

Tahrim Kaderi alias Russell is a son of Tanvir Kaderi, a militant suspect who killed himself during the police raid at an Azimpur den earlier this month.
