1 killed, 4 injured as helicopter crashes in Cox’s Bazar

One person was killed and four others were seriously injured when a passenger helicopter of Meghna Aviation crashed at Rizu Khal area in Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar on Friday morning.

The helicopter crashed around 10am in the area. The injured were rushed to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital where doctors declared one of them dead.

The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately. The reason behind the incident could not be ascertained yet.
