Youth killed in Ashulia ‘gunfight’

A youth was killed in an alleged gunfight with police in Ashulia area of Savar on Sunday morning.

The deceased is Anwar Hossain. Further details of the deceased could not be known immediately.

One person, seeking anonymity, said he heard of several firing shots when it is was dawn. On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the youth.

Later, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
