Road crashes kill 3 in Gazipur

Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Gazipur district on Saturday morning.

A rashly driven truck collided head on with a four-wheeler (locally named Leguna) in Bhabanipur area on Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, leaving one dead on the spot and two injured.

In another accident, two men were killed in truck-pickup van collision at Rongila Bazar area under Sreepur upazila of Gazipur.

Maona Highway police station Officer-in-Charge Md Hafizur Rahman confirmed the deaths to the Dhaka Tribune.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
