Main Eid prayers timings announced

The timings for the Eid-ul-Azha prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and National Eidgah were announced on Thursday.

The main Eid congregation will be held at the National Eidgah at 8am, but it will be shifted to the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 8.30am in case of inclement weather, said an official handout here.

It said five Eid jamaats would be held at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The first Jamaat will be held at 7 am, second at 8am, third at 9am, fourth at 10am and the fifth and last one at 10.45am.

Steps have been taken for foolproof security and adequate water supply for the devotees who would offer Eid prayers at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque on September 13, the handout said.
