JMB man held with bombs in Gaibandha

Police in a drive held a member of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with three bombs from Saghata upazila in Gaibandha on Wednesday at 11.30pm.

The detainee was identified as Farid Uddin, 45, son of Sadek Hosen, of Raghobpur village of the upazila.

Mostafizur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Saghata Police Station, confirmed the matter to the reporters.

Farid is an active member of JMB, he added.
