Bogra medical college closed sine die

The authorities of Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (SZMC) in Bogra have closed for an indefinite period on Wednesday after infighting of the college’s Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).

The academic committee took the decision after an emergency meeting around 11am.

At least six students were injured in a clash between warring factions of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), said police.

The principal said, We have asked the students to vacate their halls by 4:00pm today.
