Two remanded in Hoshio murder case

A Rangpur court on Tuesday granted a 10-day remand to two suspects, including a local BNP leader in Japanese national Hosni Kunio murder case.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Abu Taleb passed the order court after police produced them before the court with 10-day remand prayer.

The two accused are Rashidunnabi Khan Biplob and Humayun Kabir Hira who was trade partner of Hoshi.

Police have found their involvement in the murder, Rezaul Karim, officer-in-charge of Kaunia Police Station, told the court while seeking their remand.

Earlier on Saturday, some unidentified miscreants gunned down Japanese national Hoshi Kunio, 65, in Kownia of Rangpur district.
