PRAN bags 6 nat’l export trophies

PRAN Group, leading food processing brand of the country has got six best national export trophies for playing vital role in export segment. The conglomerate achieved the trophies for FY 2011-12 and FY 2012-13.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina handed over the trophies and certificates to Uzma Chowdhury, Corporate Finance Director at PRAN-RFL Group, Eleash Mridha, Director of PRAN, Kamruzzaman Kamal, Director of Marketing at PRAN-RFL Group, and Mizanur Rahman, Chief of Export at PRAN in an award giving ceremony in city’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on Sunday.

In agro processing sector, PRAN Dairy Limited, PRAN Agro Limited and PRAN Foods Limited obtained the Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies respectively for FY 2012-13. Meanwhile, PRAN Export Limited, PRAN Agro Limited and PRAN Foods Limited won the Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies respectively for FY 2011-12.

The Government of Bangladesh awarded ‘Best National Export Trophy’ to PRAN as the highest exporter in agro processing sector for the last 12 consecutive years.

PRAN Group, the country’s leading food processer and exporter, started exporting its agro-processing products to France in 1997. At present, the group is exporting it wide range of products to 130 countries in the globe.

Kamruzzaman Kamal said ‘We are very delighted for getting the best exporter award. It will inspire us to do better in upcoming days.’ He also said ‘we got the award as our world-wide consumers trust on our brands.’

PRAN has a big market in India and Middle East countries. The conglomerate is constantly working to expand its export market.

PRAN Group got the gold trophy under highest export earning company at agro processing sector in FY 1999-2000.
