Int`l human traffickers held in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested nine suspected members of an international human trafficking syndicate from different parts of the city on Sunday night.

The identities of the arrestees could not yet be known.

Sources at the Rab Headquarters said a team of the elite force conducted separate drives in the city at night and arrested the nine members of an international human trafficker`s gang along with fake visas of different countries and fake visa-making materials. -UNB
