Nation to remember Mohitul forever: President

President Abdul Hamid on Thursday expressed profound shock at the death of AFM Mohitul Islam, plaintiff of the historic Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman murder case.

In a condolence message, the President said the Bengali nation will remember with gratitude the courageous role of Mohitul in the trial of Bangabandhu murder forever, BSS reports.

The trial of Bangabandhu killing was held after a long time because of his courageous steps, the killers were punished and Bangladesh and Bengali nation got rid of a curse, he added.

Abdul Hamid prayed for peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to members of the bereaved family.
