Cricketer Shahadat’s wife arrested

Cricketer Shahadat Hossain’s wife Nitto Shahadat has been arrested from Malibag area in Dhaka on charges of torturing their 11-year-old domestic help.

Muntasirul Islam, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Media and Public Relations Department of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has confirmed the matter to JagoNews24.com.

Earlier on September 6, Mahfuza Akhtar Happy, domestic help, brought allegations of torture by Shahadat and his wife.
