1 held over Publisher Dipan’s killing

Members of Detective Branch of Police held one suspected person in connection with the murder case of Jagriti Prokashoni owner Foysal Arefin Dipan on Tuesday night.
The detainee was identified as Shamim alias Somir alias Imran.
ASM Hafizur Rahman, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (Media and Public Relations Department) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police on Wednesday confirmed the matter to Jagonews24.com.
Jagriti Prokashoni owner Dipan was stabbed dead inside his office in Dhaka’s Aziz Super Market on October 31 last year. The same day, another publisher was knifed brutally in the capital.
