3 fake DB held in city

Police arrested three fake Detective Branch members from city’s Kadomtoli area early hours of Tuesday.

The arrestees are Shofiqur Rahman, 45, Abdur Rashid Kaium, 38, and Mintu Khan, 43.

Mohammad Yusuf Ali, Additional Deputy Commissioner of DMP (Media and Public Relation wing) said a team of police arrested three fake DB while they were taking preparation to commit robbery in front of Jamuna Bank in city’s Kadomtoli at midnight.

Police also recovered handcuff and wireless sets from their possession.

A case was filed with Kadomtoli Police Sttaion in this connection, added the ADC.
