Mirpur furniture shop fire under control
The fire, which broke out at a furniture shop in the capital on Monday morning, has been brought under control.
Atikul Alam Chowdhury, Duty Officer of Fire Service Headquarters, confirmed the matter to reporters.
The fire originated around 8.30am from a furniture shop at the ground floor of a building near Al Helal Hospital.
On information, six units of fire service rushed to the spot and were able to bring the fire under control around 9.05am.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
