Cyclone kills 4 in Faridpur
Four people have been killed and eighty others were injured when a tornado swept over Faridpur Sadar upazilla on Sunday afternoon.
Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Sardar Sarfat Ali told the Dhaka Tribune that four workers of Jobaida-Karim jute mills were killed when the roof of machine room made of CI sheet was blown away.
Three of them died on the spot and one of the injured succumbed to injuries at the hospital, he added.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
