13 indicted for Rajon murder

A Sylhet court on Tuesday framed charges against 13 people including fugitive accused Kamrul Islam for the brutal killing of 13-year-old Rajon.

Sylhet Metropolitan Session Judge Akbar Hossain Mridha`s court made the charge framing order on Tuesday, clearing path for the start of the trial in the lawsuit.

The trial will begin on October 1 with recording statement of the witnesses.

The trio are Kamrul Islam who arrested in the KSA four days after the incident, his brother Shamim Alam and Pavel Islam, from Dirai upazila.

The ten others accused are Muhit Alam, 32, his brother Ali Haider alias Ali, 34, Moina Miah alias Baro Moina, 45, Noor Ahmed alias Noor Miah, 20, Dulal Ahmed, 30, Aiyas Ali, 45, Tajuddin Badol, 28, Firuj Miah, 50, Asmat Ali, 42, and Ruhul Amin, 25.

Of them, eight accused except Tajuddin Badol and Ruhul Amin, meanwhile, have given confessional statement in the heinous murder to the court.
