Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus lays the foundation stone of Sampriti Bhaban at the International Buddhist Monastery in Dhaka on Sunday.
Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus laid the foundation stone of the Sampriti Bhaban at the International Buddhist Monastery in the capital on Sunday.
He attended the ceremony as the chief guest at a programme organised by the Bangladesh Buddhist Federation.
Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain and Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma were also present at the event, reports BSS.
The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Sangharaja Venerable Shrimat Dharmapriya Mahathera.
Later, the chief adviser visited the main prayer hall and the monastery.
