Construction worker dies falling from city building

A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in DIT Project area under Badda police station in the city on Wednesday morning.

Nasir, sub-inspector of Badda Police Station confirmed the matter. 

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Rafiq, 28, son of Mohammad Majibur Rahman, a resident of Laksam upazila in Comilla district.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where physicians declared him dead around 6:45am.

The body was sent to the hospital morgue for autopsy.
