Smooth Eid travel: Trains depart on time from Kamalapur station

The days of waiting for hours for a train are now over. Trains are departing on time, allowing passengers to begin their Eid journeys home without hassle.
A visit to Kamalapur Railway Station on Friday, March 28, revealed this scenario. Each platform at the station had trains parked in line, with some platforms even accommodating additional coaches. Every train departed Dhaka Railway Station at its scheduled time. Once a platform became vacant after a departure, it was either used to park the next service or kept empty for returning trains. This efficient process ensured that all trains left on time.
Passengers have expressed satisfaction with the smooth travel experience during Eid and have praised the station's management.
Mobarok Hossain, a passenger on the Ekata Express, shared, "I’ve traveled by train before, and the hassles were endless. This time, the management seems much better. There are no unauthorised passengers on board, and in the past, someone would sit in another person’s seat. It's nice to travel home without any trouble."
Another passenger, Aduri Khatun, said, "I am traveling home for Eid with my family. I’m heading to my in-laws' place now, and after Eid, I will visit my parents' house. The children are also very happy to be going home after a long time."
Shahadat Hossain, the station manager at Dhaka Railway Station, stated, "By 10:30 am, 13 intercity trains had departed, all on schedule."
