CEXIM Chairman meets Chief Adviser

Chen Huaiyu, Chairman of The Export-Import Bank of China (CEXIM), met with Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser, Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, at Bo'ao State Guest House in Hainan Province on Thursday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Bo'ao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025.

Chief Adviser Yunus is scheduled to address the conference, focusing on Asia’s evolving role in global affairs. He is also expected to hold discussions with chief executive officers (CEOs) of major global and Chinese companies.

Earlier, Yunus arrived in Hainan on Wednesday to attend the forum. A special flight carrying the Chief Adviser and his delegation landed at Qionghai Boao International Airport at around 4:15 PM (Bangladesh Standard Time).

On his arrival, Bangladesh’s Ambassador to China, Md Nazmul Islam, and the Vice Governor of Hainan Province welcomed him at the airport.
