Technical glitch halts metrorail for 27 minutes

The metrorail services were suspended for around 27 minutes on Monday afternoon, March 24, due to technical glitch, causing sufferings to the commuters.
Train operations were halted from 3:40pm to 4:07pm, and at about 4:08pm, the services resumed.
Sources in the Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited, DMTCL, said a train was stuck midway due to technical glitch and other trains behind it were also stuck at respective places as it is an automatic system.
Around 4:00pm, a Motijheel-bound was seen standing at Karwar Bazar Station with passengers. No one was geting down for fear that the train may leave at any time.
