Those traveling today purchased their tickets on March 14. A visit to the railway station revealed the situation. Although Eid is still a week away, many are already sending their families back home from Dhaka.

According to railway station sources, the Eid journey began with the departure of the Dhaka-Rajshahi-bound Dhumketu Express at 6:00 am. By 9:40 am, 11 trains had already left the station.

Station authorities have confirmed that all preparations have been made to ensure a smooth Eid journey, and trains are departing on time. There have been no reported passenger inconveniences, and travelers have expressed satisfaction with the overall environment.

Another traveler, Muhayminul Islam, said, "I have completed my studies and am preparing for a job in Dhaka. I celebrate Eid with my family every year, and I am heading home again this year. There is not much work in Dhaka, so I’m leaving early."

Meanwhile, to prevent ticketless passengers, ticket checks are being conducted in three stages. Regarding the overall arrangements, Dhaka Railway Station Manager Shahadat Hossain said, "We have made all necessary preparations for the Eid journey. RNFB and the railway police have set up control rooms. Trains are departing on time, and passengers are able to travel home without any inconvenience."
