Three people, including an elderly man and a woman, were killed and another was injured after a brick-laden truck rammed a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Gazipur's Kaliakair on Saturday morning, March 15.
Among the dead, one was identified as Obaidul, driver of the auto-rickshaw.
Police and witnesses said a brick-laden truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Namashulai area on the Kaliakair-Mawna road around 8:30am, leaving three dead on the spot and another injured.
The injured was taken to Kaliakari upazila health complex.
Kaliakair police station's sub-inspector Kamrul Hasan confirmed the incident.
