Gulshan attack: another 7 attackers identified
Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CT) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has identified another seven or eight people including three masterminds of Gulshan Holey Artisan Bakery terror attack on July 1.
CT boss Monirul Islam unveiled the information to journalists at a press briefing at DMP media center on Tuesday.
He said, we identified another seven or eight people and now we are inquiring about them.
Earlier, police has identified Tamim Chowdhury, coordinator of Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and a Canadian expatriate, Syed Md.Ziaul Haque, ex-military personal and Nurul Islam Marzan, a student of University of Chittagong as masterminds of Gulshan terror attack.
On July 1 in this year, militants stormed into Holey Artisan Bakery, an upscale diner of Gulshan area and killed 22 people including 17 foreigners and two police officials.
