Operation Devil Hunt: 8,079 arrested in 15 days

The law enforcers arrested 769 more people across the country during the ongoing ‘Operation Devil Hunt’ in the last 24 hours.
With this, a total of 8,079 individuals were apprehended in the nationwide special drive, Inamul Haque Sagar, AIG (Media and PR) of the Police Headquarters, told Jago News on Saturday evening, February 22.
On February 8, the government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice.
The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
