Malaysia deports 45 Bangladeshi nationals

Some 68 foreign nationals, including 45 Bangladeshi ones, have been detained at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport for suspicious movement.
The Malaysian Border Control and Protection Agency, AKPS, detained them on Wednesday, February 19, and later, sent them back to their respective countries.
Though the detainees claimed they entered the airport as tourists but were roaming suspiciously at food shops and other places there instead of heading towards immigration center and they were seemed waiting for someone particular, AKPS said in a statement.
After conducting verification of the foreigners’ documents, they were disallowed from entering Malaysia and given notice to leave, the statement added.
