81 more detained in Operation Devil Hunt in Gazipur

A total of 81 individuals were detained in Gazipur on the third day of the nationwide "Operation Devil Hunt." Among them, 69 were detained from eight police station areas in the metropolitan area, while 12 were detained from five police stations in the district.

Deputy Police Commissioner of the Special Branch of Gazipur Metropolitan Police, Md. Alamgir Hossain, stated that raids were conducted across the city and various police station areas on Monday night. Of those detained, 19 were from Sadar police station, 9 from Bason police station, 2 from Konabari police station, 6 from Gacha police station, 2 from Pubail police station, 5 from Kashimpur police station, 7 from Tongi East police station, 8 from Tongi West police station, 7 from DB North police station, and 4 from DB South police station.

Meanwhile, district police carried out operations in Sreepur, Kapasia, Kaliganj, Kaliakoir, and Joydebpur police station areas, arresting an additional 12 individuals.
