Police obstruct Inqilab Moncho’s procession towards Home Ministry

The police have obstructed Inqilab Moncho’s procession towards the Home Ministry protesting against giving ‘safe exit’ to those involved in the July mass killings and demanding the resignation of home adviser.

The law enforcers blocked the protesters in front of Shikkha Bhaban around 3:00pm on Monday, February 2. Later, they took up positions there.

Inqilab Moncho’s spokesman Sharif Osman Hadi said, “Either police will take us to the home adviser or will kill us and remove from here.”

Earlier, Inqilab Moncho, a cultural organisation, announced the Home Ministry gherao programme at 2:00pm today protesting against giving safe exit by state agencies to those involved in the July massacre and demanding the resignation of home adviser acknowledging his failure.
