Truck kills 5 CNG passengers in Pabna

At least five passengers were killed when a sand-laden truck hit an auto rickshaw carrying them at Kashinathpur of Pabna.

The incident took place on Dhaka-Pabna highway at 7.30am on Monday.

The deceased are Sadhon Das, 65, CNG driver Abul Kalam, 30, Hasna Begum, 40, Abdul Malek Shikder, 45 and his wife Panna, 35.

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-charge of Aminpur Police Station Tazul Huda said, being informed police rushed to the spot and recovered the dead bodies.
