Four reform commissions submit reports

Four reform commissions out of six will submitted their respective reports to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Wednesday.

Members of the four commissions handed over their reports to Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at his office in Tejgaon. 

The Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said the commission members are expected to hold a discussion while they will share the elaborate description of their findings and recommendations.

Earlier, the interim government expected five out of six reform commissions to submit their reports by January 15 in line with the extended timeframe.

The six commissions are the Electoral System Reform Commission headed by Dr Badiul Alam Majumdar, the Police Administration Reform Commission headed by Safarraj Hossain, the Judiciary Reform Commission headed by Justice Shah Abu Naeem Mominur Rahman, Anti-Corruption Reform Commission headed by TIB's Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Public Administration Reform Commission headed by Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury, and Constitution Reform Commission headed by Dr Ali Riaz.
