BFIU seeks financial details of Hasina, Rehana, their families

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has issued directives to all banks and financial institutions in the country to provide information and transaction details of ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her family members, reports BSS.

The BFIU has requested financial information about Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and daughter Saima Wazed Putul, a senior official from the BFIU said, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The intelligence agency has also asked for the financial details of Rehana's daughters - Tulip Siddiq and Azmina Siddiq - as well as her son Radwan Mujib Siddiq Bobby, along with their business enterprises.
